One day after a burst of rain, Toadstool Town was gazetted.The town grew quickly and more buildings popped up, illuminating the landscape.The developmental program was rapid, but the town was built on shaky foundations and building code requirements were paid scant attention.Sadly and before their time, structures began to decay and break down. Development of new structures slowed.The decay continued unabated as paint gave way to mould and edifices crumbled to the point of being almost unrecognisable.The end came quickly as the surrounding landscape swallowed up what had been.
