Oh to God that we could be ‘together as one’, cooperating and being together in harmonious oneness. race, colour and creed should not come into the reckoning.

Tolerance, give and take, respecting and being respected is a part of that equation. Those of us who are Christian, believe God created us as equals, and it to that standard of equality and appreciation we should all adhere.

In some ways, we have come a long way toward understanding each other – it takes empathy and understanding to work.
