TOO MANY BUSHFIRES ARE DELIBERATELY LIT

Many wildfires are not random, and they do not start accidentally.

Those pinged for arson should have the book thrown at them big time. There are no excuses or extenuating circumstances for those who deliberately light fires to create chaos and mayhem.

Arson is a major crime, and the retribution of law should require, among other things, that the arsonist’s earnings are heavily garnished until all damage is made good.

Loss of life through arson has to be first-degree murder.
