Behind the facades,

Crumbling premises,

Which cost the earth,

And now worth paltry dollars.

Jerry buildings

Look okay,

Behind the outer shell,

Vacuums of neglect,

And crumbling structure.

Jerry buildings,

Pumped up with Botox,

Smooth outer skin,

Hiding cracks and crumbling innards.

When the building is gone,

The mortgage,

Will still be,

Ever pressing.
