Good evening, Henry memories of yesterday. When Dad took to that very spot, the ocean was three feet from the caravan door late that day . Morning came my brother, an early riser yelling the ocean had disappeared . After 4 weeks diving on the red dust in the outback looking for water, it had disappeared . Shock and disappointment one could cut with a knife. We heard the sound of a cattle train stopping out strode a true blue Aussie whiskers to the ground tried around his neck and big straw hat and big boots I thought at the time wow I could live in those. We had a wonderful two days together time ever he loved my mother cooking scones, strawberries, and jam . That’s the Australia I loved .
