All talk, squawk and urging. Much pontification but little action. The story of Ukraine

A village grew up in the restful surrounds of a peaceful Ukrainian eastern province.
Even as it grew, consilidated and prospered, threats toward its future were being generated by awareness of Russian intentions.
Observers from European NATO countries watched unfolding developments in the land of their not-too-distant neighbour.
More and more people gathered in places near and far to discuss and speculate about what Russia may or may not do.
As the portent of impending invasion drew nearer
The talkers said “not me” when invited to offer meaningful counter to Russian intentions and withdrew a respectful distance in order to view things in safety.
This beautiful area, one of villages and field rich in agricultural purpose was about to be put to the sword.
February 24 2022 and in came the forces – so began the demolition
Smash, smash and crush!
The long term intention of Russia – led by President Putin – was relentless
Little towns
Larger communities were left in shattered ruins

The spirit of Ukraine is indomitable, but there has to be an endpoint.

Where to from here?
