however, now that the panic has subsided a bit, the consensus i’m seeing is an old joe is infinitely preferable to any iteration of the other guy.
Will JB be replaced?
I do not believe he will be. He is the one who beat Trump in 2020 and he has done a good job as president. I just saw a message/tweet/whatever that affirms from the biden/harris account that he *will* be the nominee.
The debate and outcomes are getting HUGE media coverage in Australia. That along with the Julian Assange issue.
They are here as well. The New York Times in its infinite wisdom called dor Biden to step down. He had a campaign event in North Carolina day after the debate and he said what needed to be said. i’m paraphrasing “yes i’m old but i damn well know how to do this job. we are americans. when we get knocked down, we get back up.”
i was so dismayed friday morning but i wasn’t thinking very critically about it all. there was SO much hype leading up to the debate. I took it all way too seriously. And of course our media gives trump a pass 24/7 no matter what kind of nonsense or lies he spits out. if anyone should step down from running it is DJT.
And now of course, Trump never sinned according to the US Supreme Court.
Yeah that wasn’t surprising given the makeup of the court but i told my husband last night; the only way that ruling could ever be legitimate is if there were a way to measure someone’s character and integrity and have them to be completely above reproach.
