1. Ah. Nice to find Edward and Thomas there, Henry. 😉 My dad was John Thomas; I am John Edward; my big brother was Thomas Heber. Dad went by John or Junior (his dad was John Thomas); my brother went by Tom (Tommy and from his teen years, Tiny); I go by Ed and Eddie. The Heber was our maternal grandfather’s name: Francis Heber, and he went by Heber (whose wife’s name was Florence Hazel; I always thought the coincidence of their initials was interesting). And while we are on coincidences re: names… My mom’s name was Annetta Mae and my wife’s mom’s name was Audrey Mae; both of them went by Mae.

   Ha! More than you cared to know, I’m sure.
