This is an appalling & cruel decision by PM Albo & Labor as reported by the The Australian today. That:

❌ punishes older Aussies 🇦🇺 who have worked hard & paid taxes & did their best to never be a burden on our nation.

❌ pushes more Australians onto the already diabolical public health system that can’t cope with demand as it is

❌ will lead to people not seeking treatment in a timely manner, worsening their health & leading to more expensive treatments when things become critical or life threatening

❌ will cause terrible $$$ & emotional stress for retirees on fixed incomes during Labor’s shocking cost-of-living crisis.

Private health insurance is the last thing retirees ever want to give up as it’s the time of life they need it most.
