  1. Your 1,232-day posting streak has not been lost. The recent “3 days in a row” notification is simply a new achievement badge generated by WordPress, not a reset of your actual posting record. Since your posts clearly demonstrate uninterrupted daily publishing, your long-term consistency remains intact. WordPress often sends multiple milestone notifications to encourage creators and celebrate ongoing engagement.

        That is supposed to be the way it works, but for me, it’s not happening that way. It got to saying that I was on a 1232 days streak. And then as I kept on posting on successive days it never showed anything but stopped completely.

        Meanwhile, it started putting in a lot of new stuff I’ve never seen before like number of posts on particular days over the years and funny things like posting times and length of posts and so on. The streak cut out completely.

        Then three days ago it came back in and told me that I had successfully posted and had a streak of two days, then a streak of three days, and when I posted today it said I had a streak of four days.

        So it’s completely stopped the real streak and come up with an start.

        I have had no brakes at all in daily postings to warrant them stopping my streak at 1232 days and it should be continuing but it’s not For it started all over again.

        That is the problem and it needs to be rectified by WordPress but I don’t know how to approach them and how to talk to somebody about rectifying what is their error.

        My posting record shows that I have lost no days of posting and that there were no gaps. So I don’t really know where to go to from here.

        You might think I’m being quirky and stupid for an 80 year-old man. But these sorts of things are important to me.

        I would appreciate your further advice as I think you know a lot more about WordPress than I do.

        I do not think you are being quirky or foolish at all. A posting streak of 1,232 consecutive days is a remarkable achievement, and I can fully understand why you would want it accurately reflected.

        Since your posting record shows no missed days, this appears to be something that WordPress Support should investigate. I suggest contacting them directly and providing details of the issue, together with screenshots of your posting history and the new streak notifications.

        When contacting them, explain that your streak reached 1,232 days, disappeared despite continuous daily posting, and has now restarted from day one even though there were no gaps in your posting history. Ask whether the streak data can be reviewed and corrected.

        I hope WordPress is able to restore your rightful streak.
