Interesting. I think we are who we are… but experiences alter our trajectory, our velocity, and our destination. A major part of who we are is genetic and hereditary predispositions. But I think an even majorer (more major) part is the sum of our life experiences – family, home, school, neighborhood, external influences e.g. books, music, television, movies, (blogs!), etc, that impact our internal meditations and machinations, which in turn influences our behaviors and life-choices. I believe every moment of every day – our experiences – delivers a navigational nudge; and we are continually adding to the sum of who we are by means of our encounters, even with our own internal conversations with our selves.
