THE GOLDEN YOLK AT THE HEART OF THE EGG

What relationships have a positive impact on you?

Without a shadow of a doubt the relationships that from me are the most positive, fulfilling, important, and vital our family relationships.

I sometimes think of an egg when considering a question like this.

An egg is comprised of four components. There is the shell, The membrane beneath the shell, the albumin or “White” and the yolk.

Metaphorically, the outer shell is the environment in which we live, the physical nature of our surroundings and indeed representative of the whole world.

The membrane beneath the shell is the social fabric of government that holds the world’s order in place.

Sadly, the membrane is being breached in so many places these days that the whole aspect of our world, is like a cracking and fracturing shell. Weather catastrophes of course contribute, but most of the despoilation is man-made.

The albumen to me is representative of social organisations and people we know.

The yolk, the heart of the egg, is the family. that is the most precious element of the whole deal. Sadly, family priorities take second-place to some of the other factors I’ve mentioned.

For Henry Gray, the heart of his existence and the area most precious, is the yolk, my family. Of my family I am extremely proud.
